The Fiona Gaye Moore Academy of Irish Dance was established in October of 2012 in Sydney Australia and founded by Fiona-Gaye Moore ADCRG. Fiona-Gaye was the first Australian World Champion and the first female dancer outside the UK to win the World Championships. Fiona-Gaye is assisted by Bronagh Kelly ADCRG who when competing placed in the top 3 at both state and national level, also winning several Ceili titles. FGMA teaches beginners through to open level dancers with classes currently held in Bankstown, Kingsgrove and Menai, Five dock and Punchbowl. Students from FGMA have been featured on TV series Dancing Down Under on ABC3, worked professionally in shows such as Riverdance, Footstorm and Heartbeat of Home, and have placed highly at State, National and World level. Some of our recent successes of 2014 include 9 World Qualifiers, 4 State Champions, 1 National Champion and our highlight being Ceili Moore becoming the Under 20 Ladies World Champion. Ceili is also currently a part of our teaching staff as a student teacher/mentor.
